Please note that tipping or “baksheesh” is a way of life in Egypt. Most people survive on tips. Our representative in Cairo recommends $35 per person for the tips for the entire journey, which you can give him upon arrival (if you wish) and he will distribute the tips evenly to all people involved in the tour as he knows how much and whom to give it to.
